India's history is inextricably linked with indigo, a plant based dye, that produced a rich blue colour. The seventh cycle of the Piramal Residency focuses on indigo as a colour and pigment. Artists at the residency will engage with the cultural, historical and visual aspects of the pigment in their work. The residency coincides with the Indigo festival that will be celebrated by the Piramal Group in December.
